Following the completion of a successful 2017, Advanced MP Technology is expanding its market coverage in the Southeast United States.  We are currently seeking an ambitious individual with aspirations of developing and growing a career in High Technology sales.

Position Summary

The junior sales associate, as a representative of Advanced MP Technology, must always exhibit professional behavior to customers, suppliers, managers and co-workersThis is a sales-support position, responsible for identifying and contacting prospects, with the expectation to grow into a full sales role within 6-12 months.

The junior sales associate is responsible for cold calling companies, including new and existing clients, qualifying potential opportunities and scheduling initial product presentations between prospects and our sales team. This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute immediately, to learn leading-edge sales and marketing techniques, and have an impact on our organization’s success, as well as position himself/herself effectively for the next step in his/her career.

Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new sales opportunities through multiple mediums: email, phone, trade shows, inbound website leads and more
  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail, while managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, contacts,) within AMPT’s CRM module
  • Responds to inquiries via live chat, email, incoming and outbound calls
  • Achieve a high daily call ratio, keeping management informed by submitting activity results and daily call reports, and monthly forecasts
  • Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets such as a number of qualified opportunities per campaign, a number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting and sales skills
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes stated in the company handbook
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training (preferably in a B2B environment) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires experience with high-volume prospecting though email marketing and cold calling.  


  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team driven environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to creatively solve customer supply chain issues
