1) Altera's Stratix V series

The Stratix V series consists of Altera Stratix V E, Stratix V GS, Stratix V GT, and and Stratix V GX.

Altera's Stratix V FPGA deliver the industry's highest bandwidth, highest level of system integration, and best flexibility with reduced cost and the lowest total power for high-end applications.

Stratix V FPGA have been used by Nallatech to develop a PCIe accelerator card.

Here are some of the highest-valued FPGA from the Stratix V family. Digi-key has a minimum quantity imposed on almost all of these high-end Altera FPGA.

2) Xilinx's Virtex 7 FPGA

Virtex 7 FPGA from Xilinx is the new high-end option in their 7-series line. Compared to the previous generation, Virtex 6, there are several advantages that come with using this new option.

i)  Up to 2M programmable logic cells

ii) Increased system performance

iii) Reduced Bill of Materials (BOM) costs. Multiple chips can be replaced using just one chip from the new Virtex 7 family.

iv) Reduced power usage. The new Virtex 7 chips use 50% less power than the previous generations.

v) Operating Temperature: -40°C ~ 100°C

EarthTron LLC can offer high-end Altera and Xilinx FPGA for at least 15% off the list prices. How do we do that?

1) We buy excess from OEMs that overbought FPGA.

2) These POWER BUYERS get discounted pricing due to high-volume purchases and they are often left with excess.

3) We solve their excess problem by buying their excess FPGA at the discounted price.

4) We can then pass these discounts along to you, creating a win-win scenario. We solve our OEM's excess problem and we can offer your company better pricing.

One of the other advantages of working with EarthTron LLC is that we NEVER impose a minimum order quantity (MOQ) in order to get a price-break for our high-end FPGA. If you are working on a prototype build and only need a few to begin with - maybe even just one - we can work with you.

Our parts are guaranteed for fit, form and function. Whenever possible, we try to include a certificate of conformance or any original paperwork.

Are you looking for FPGA? Search through our index to find your part. Even if you don't see it listed, send us a RFQ anyway.
