China's biggest search engine provider, Baidu, has relied on Xilinx FPGA to accelerate their cloud-based services.

Baidu's cloud-based services, termed Baidu FPGA Cloud Server, has relied on Kintex FPGA, its tools, and software suite to provide data-centric services such as machine learning, analytics, video processing and data security.  Developers can rely on an FPGA-based hardware and software development environment for all their design needs.

The development environment includes numerous hardware and software examples. Over time, the environment will grow to include a library of tools, all designed to help developers cut back on development cost and time.

Example design tools include deep learning applications, encryption, and decryption.

Each FPGA instance is a dedicated acceleration platform, never shared between instances or other users.

What are the benefits of relying on Xilinx Kintex FPGA?

Xilinx's Kintex provides the right mix of high performance and cost savings.

It has the same performance ratio as high-end FPGA from Xilinx's previous generation but has the added advantage of consuming just half the power. This means developers can provide twice the digital signal processing (DSP) capability per device. With a DSP increase per device, developers can implement complex algorithms which rely on extensive signal processing and real-time analysis.

EarthTron LLC works with FPGA, specifically Altera and Xilinx. We purchase excess FPGA from OEMs that have leftover stock. We only work with trusted OEMs, and each OEM must complete a stringent checklist before being approved as one of our suppliers. The FPGA we provide are factory-sealed.
